Takahashi Nobuyuki

Takahashi Nobuyuki is a Japanese photographer with a primary socus on nature photography.

Takahashi Nobuyuki was awarded a government scholarship to pursue studies in Spain in 1969. When he returned to Japan three years later, he began working as a freelance photographer. While he worked on commercial assignments, he also created artistic photographic works centered around specific subjects, such as "Ocean" and "Sealand."

In 1987, he navigated through the Strait of Magellan, which marked the culmination of his wave photography journey. He dedicated around one year to capturing images of the most remote parts of the ocean. Upon his return to Japan, he shifted his photographic subject matter to encompass "flowers, birds, wind, and moon," directing his lens towards river basins and pristine woods that serve as the origins of water.

Since 2010, he has been involved in cinematography and worked on the NHK documentary "Niyodo River: The Unknown World of Blue" crew. Since then, his primary focus has been on creating moving images.
